Christopher Hollins is the Vice President, Account Development of the Global Client Group within Global Corporate Payments. In this role, Christopher is responsible for managing over 40 global clients in the Entertainment, Financial Services, Pharmaceutical and Professional Services industries. Mr. Hollins joined American Express in 2006 as Vice President of Retail Industry in Merchant Services North America. In this role, he and his teams developed and implemented a comprehensive retail merchant strategy, deepened merchant relationships and successfully renewed many complex, high-value contracts. In his role prior to Global Corporate Payments, Christopher led a national merchant marketing and sales organization. Christopher led a team who were responsible for over 600 merchant relationships across numerous industries including: retail, consumer packaged goods, restaurant and lodging.

Prior to American Express, Christopher worked for 10 years at AT&T/Lucent Technologies where he led Lucent’s strategic efforts to expand the mobile technology and professional services market place with global service providers. Christopher utilized his expertise in strategic planning, cross-functional team building, business development and global marketing to support his teams’ efforts in the telecommunications industry. During his time at Lucent, Christopher spent over one third of his career living outside the United States, primarily in India and Southeast Asia. Christopher started his career at IBM in information technology consulting and marketing.

Christopher holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from Grinnell College. He resides in New Jersey and enjoys golf, fitness training and adventure travel.
