How to Search the Site

The simple text search allows you to search for information using search words, modifiers, and operators. When you enter a word as a query, a simple text parser will add some simple modifiers to the word and pass everything to the search engine.

Results are measured by documents scores; the higher the score, the more likely the document will match the specified search criteria.

Example

  1. To search for the words member and organization:

Enter the following in the Search field: member organization and click Search.

If any documents contain the words member or organization (or variations of these words), a list with all the documents will appear.

  2. To search for an exact phrase:

Use quotation marks in the Search field: "member organization" and click Search.

Documents contain the phrase ""member organization"" will appear.

You can also require a word by using (+) and exclude a work by using (-).
    1. To search for the word regional, but not chapter:

Enter the following in the Search field: +member -organization and click Search.

If any documents contain the word "member", but NOT the word "organization" a list with all the documents will appear.
