SCDAA Hosts a Booth at the Capital Jazz Fest

The staff of SCDAA hosted a booth at the Capital Jazz Fest in Columbia, Maryland, June 4-5, 2005. Hundreds of people stopped by the booth to get information on sickle cell disease; on our new and improved Web site and to purchase Sickle Cell Stamp items. A raffle was held for two free tickets to attend "An Evening of Jazz" featuring "Kim Waters" during our 33rd Annual Convention. The winner is Sonya Macon-Hawkins. It was a very successful event!
