We are equally pleased to report that Justin Bost has been assigned as Communications Specialist in support of SCDAA communications and marketing efforts. From concept to completion, Bost takes a clean, modern approach to his designs, favoring functionality and bold imagery over simply “making it look pretty.” His portfolio includes a range of print and multi-media projects, including motion graphics, publications, logos, brochures, training curricula, information graphics, web-based communications, and more.  Bost’s designs have been recognized by the American Institute of Graphic Arts, earning him a 2009 Honorable Mention for “Excellence in Publication Design” and the 2010 “Show Off” award for logo design. Justin’s experience includes his positions as Principal and Creative Director, Design Bold, LLC, Graphic Design Contractor with CoStar Group, Inc and Junior Graphic Designer with FHI 360. Justin is a graduate of the Corcoran College of Art & Design where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts concentrated in Graphic Design. Justin’s first day with the National Office was Monday, January 28th.
Through DesignBold, Bost continues to effectively and efficiently deliver impactful work to a socially positive clientele to include the City of Mount Rainier, Gateway Community Development Corporation, Joe’s Movement Emporium, NonStop Art, Port Towns Church and the Princess Mhoon Dance Institute to name a few. During the summer of 2015, Bost took on the role of Graphic Design Instructor at the DC Promise Neighborhood Initiative’s Digital Media Academy (DMA), a program that helps to prepare youth in the Kenilworth Parkside community of Washington, DC for careers in the 21st century economy.
